Kentucky Month-to-Month Lease Agreement
The Kentucky month to month rental agreement is for tenants seeking an arrangement where they do not have an end date, and according to Statute 383.695, may cancel or terminate the agreement with at least thirty (30) days’ notice. The landlord should remain cautious when accepting a new lessee as they will be subject to the same landlord-tenant laws as a standard one-year agreement. Therefore, every tenant should be screened through the rental application.
- Raising Rent: The landlord has to give at least thirty (30) days’ notice before raising rent on a tenant in a month to month agreement.
