The North Dakota eviction notice for the nonpayment of rent is a form served upon a tenant who is currently behind on their rent payments. The document gives the tenant three (3) days to either pay the landlord or leave the property. Tenants should keep in mind that if they do not leave the property, they will be held liable for the monies owed to the landlord. Furthermore, if the tenant does not leave the premises after the expiration of the notice period, they will be subjected to a formal eviction if so desired by the landlord.

When is Rent due? (§ 47-16-20) – The tenant will need to pay rent on the date stated in the lease, or if no such condition has been established, at the end of each month.
