Tennessee Month-to-Month Lease Agreement Template
The Tennessee month-to-month lease agreement is a residential rental contract between a landlord and tenant that does not have a fixed end-date. All the other elements of a residential rental agreement remain the same, such as the rights, responsibilities, and obligations of both parties and the applicability of State laws. This temporary arrangement makes it easier for both parties to terminate without much cause; however, certain conditions apply (mentioned below). It is highly recommended that the landlord verify the tenant’s information (credit, employment, and references) with the rental application.
Rent Increase – No statute regarding rent increase.
Minimum Termination Notice (§ 66-28-512(b)) – Either party has the right to terminate a monthly tenancy by providing written notice at least thirty (30) days prior to what would otherwise be the next rental period.
