Wisconsin Month-to-Month Lease Agreement Template
The Wisconsin month-to-month lease agreement is a rental contract that allows a tenant and landlord to establish a temporary arrangement with regard to the renting of residential property. Just as the title suggests, this type of rental agreement permits the tenant to pay rent in exchange for property access on a monthly basis. The contract may be terminated at any time by either party (as long as the legal notice period is used) which makes it a convenient arrangement for certain tenants. Otherwise, all terms and conditions contained within the agreement are very much the same as a standard residential agreement. Both parties must still abide by Wisconsin Landlord and Tenant laws and are granted the same rights and responsibilities as any other landlords and tenants.
Rent Increase – There is no statute written that defines a notice period for rent increase.
Minimum Termination Notice (§ 704.19(3)) – Twenty-eight (28) days notice must be provided by the terminating party.
