The Missouri notice to quit is an eviction letter that can be applied to any tenant who is behind on their rent. The landlord is allowed to serve this notice and demand payment from the tenant immediately following the rental due date. Typically, the landlord will ask for three (3) to five (5) days for the tenant to pay or vacate the premises. If the tenant does not comply with the payment notice, the landlord may terminate the tenant’s lease and initiate the eviction process.

When is Rent due? – Rent must be paid on the date agreed upon in the lease agreement.
