Tennessee Commercial Lease Agreement
The Tennessee commercial lease is a document that is authorized between a property owner of retail, office, or industrial space and a business tenant acting as an individual or entity. After the parties come to an agreement over the amount of space, monthly payment, and who will be responsible for what utilities the landlord and tenant are advised to authorize the agreement.
- All commercial leases are highly recommended to be signed in front of a notary public.
Verification by Landlord
- Rental Application – Used to lookup the financial credit and bank account status of the principal(s). There may be an non-refundable fee associated with the process.
- Secretary of State Business Database – Ensure that the entity (if applicable) is in good standing/valid with the State otherwise the contract may be invalid even though it is authorized by the tenant.
